FAQs

What is a mobile notary, and how does it work?

A mobile notary is a notary public who travels to meet clients at a location of their choice, such as home, office, or another convenient place. They verify the identity of signers and witness document signings, just like traditional notaries.

What is your service area?

We serve New York City and the five boroughs. We also offer nationwide apostille services for documents issued in New York.

What are the advantages of using a mobile notary over a traditional notary?

Mobile notaries offer convenience by coming to you, even outside regular hours or on weekends. They are often faster and more flexible than traditional notaries, making them ideal for busy individuals or those with mobility challenges.

How much does a mobile notary cost, and what factors affect the price?

Prices vary based on location, document type, and urgency. Please contact us for a customized quote.

How long does an appointment usually take?

Notarization can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour, depending on the number and complexity of documents. Mobile notaries are typically faster since they come directly to you.

What types of documents can be notarized by a mobile notary?

We can notarize most documents, including:
• Wills and Trusts
• Power of Attorney
• Real Estate Documents (Deeds, Mortgages, Leases)
• Affidavits, Contracts, and Agreements
• Custody Papers
• Loan Documents
• Marriage and Divorce Papers
• Foreign and Immigration Documents
• USPS Form 1583, Minor Travel Consent Forms, and more.

What should I bring to my appointment, and what should I expect?

Bring a valid government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.). The notary will verify your identity, witness your signature, and then affix their official seal to the document.

Can you draw documents for me?

We do not draft legal documents, but we provide links to helpful resources on our “Resources” page for your reference.

What is the apostille process? Should I notarize my document before submitting it?

To avoid delays, we will notarize your document before obtaining the apostille, as the apostille authenticates the notary’s signature.
Exceptions: If your document is already a certified vital record (e.g., birth certificate), notarization may not be needed, but you must ensure it’s a certified copy.
We can handle both notarization and apostille services for you. You can request certified vital records via the link on our “Resources” page.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We offer discounts for customers who certify multiple documents. Our rates are already affordable, and we provide additional savings for bulk services. Contact us for pricing details!
